In short - HSBC. Starting next monday, hope that it will be an enjoyable 3 month!!
At first, my tutor want me to go to a company called Cummins but i was in Taiwan during that interview period, so too bad. I was kind of sad because who knows what kind of opportunity will i be given there?

Then i was offered to a bank called BNP Paribas the pay was super attractive - $1k/month. However after sending the resume and all, my tutor decided to reject the company as the wait was too long.

Lastly, i was offered to HSBC but it's located at Pasir Panjang, kinda far for me. So..i was given the option to go to Prima Deli ( Food is provided everyday somemore!) and a stack of company that is near my  house for me to choose. Still decided to choose HSBC in the end..Well, hope i made a good choice!! And i am thankful for all the opportunity given haha

Edited Version: So..I went to HSBC today to complete all the admin stuff and i am under the team of Talent Management!! Erm i dont really know what i am suppose to do la but sounds kind of cool right. Sadly, both my supervisors are female, my other friend's department head are all male. We were saying they sounded Ang Moh somemore. *Sad Face* hahaha

Hello kitty Sweets Cafe

Went to the Hello Kitty in Taiwan! Really really fascinated by all the interior design inside! The food was..really of an average quality but whoever is going to Taiwan should really go and have a look at Hello Kitty Sweets! ( That's their shop name) Really accessible! 5 min walks from their train station only!

Second time in Taiwan , really different from the first as this time round we had it free and easy the whole trip. Except for two days where we hire a personal bus plus tour guide to 清境农场! A really amazing place with excellent scenery out there! I wore like one long john, one pyjamas and 3 jacket to sleep at night BUT i believe that's just me. My family all had only one to two jackets on when they sleep when we were up the high high mountain. More on 清境农场 and Taiwan the next time! 

Really busy with the endless projects! 4 more weeks where i officially end my studies in Singapore Polytechnic and go for my Internship Program!  Till then...

100th Post / Working experience

Yes this is the 100th post of this blog.

From happyinthecastle ( which i really really regret deleting it) to extra-ordinary to desirableoutcome. Time really flies huh?

Am currently promoting moon cake till this Sunday. 3 week of work this time round. Every time i work, i learnt new things.

I am only 18+ year old ( few more months to 19 though) and i think my working experience is kind of amazing. My first job was LovelyDeArt at Causewaypoint i quit after less than 2 week because i don't like being restricted. Everything i do is under the observation of some girl that is only a few years older than me. To add on , in that shop you will only have friends if you are talkative and outgoing and well , know how to boot lick perhaps. That happened weeks after my O level and after he fly off .

After that job , Jolene sms me to go for an interview as waitress in Mandarin Orchard ( was called Meritus Mandarin that time) . Was reluctant at first because my parents think i wont last for 3 days as a waitress. Who knows, i think one quarter of my life change because of this job. Jolene and i had hell lots of fun ( i hope she feel that way) at the start of our job. Because our job were just to pack chocolate. We ate as we pack. Haha sounds legit. After that Christmas period we were asked to choose between CnC or Mandarin Court ( formally called Pine court) because we were actually running up and down everyday. Still remember i worked more that 12 hour in one day ; morning help in Deli counter plus Coffee and Crust then 5.30pm went to help in Pine court. But back then , i was happy, really happy. I don't know why maybe because i have never seen so many different kind of people in my life. When the chefs or whoever walk past you in the locker area most of them will smile and chit chat with you. That was a nice feeling. But well , things change when we are close to a group of people another will have something to say. That was when conflict in Pinecourt happen. After i stop working in Pine Court i went back to Coffee and Crust because there was still 1 month before my year 1 start. And from then , i worked for them for 3 consecutive Christmas. I am just a passer-by to many but i am truly grateful for everything that happen there. And nope , i don't think i will go back there anymore. But the hospitality industry is definitely an industry i am looking forward to.

In between the 3 Christmas , i worked for Isetan in 2011 and Robinson in 2012. Good memories and well Robinson is definitely the slackest most relaxing and no pressure job ever.

Right now, i am working for Bengawan Solo. Many asked: Why the down grade? The most realistic answer i will give is that i need money to go to Taiwan. But not just that , working in big organisation can indeed be tiring at times you need to greet many people regardless of when you are in the lift , cafeteria, locker area and even the toilet. You need to look out/ avoid people you don't like or people whom don't like you. You need to face awkward situation of standing in the lift with someone who use to be friends with you but now enemy. In small shop house, you just need to face that few people. But you do need to be prepared , if they all don't like you then it will be like hell because you cant go to others. Apparently most liked me well at least that is what i feel lah. haha. There is two idiots though , ungrateful idiots in the shop currently. But i wont take it in heart because they are pitiful idiots. Okay i might sound harsh here but they are really ungrateful. I am nice enough to change my timing with them although i had other things in mind but when i want to change, no one bother. See? We need to see who is worthy of being nice to. Some really doesn't worth our niceness.

From happyinthecastle to the me right now , i think i learnt and changed. And i do realise the importance of having friends. True friends. Going to meet them up after my work and before going to Taiwan. And some after i come back from Tw.

Braces / Innobrace / Nando's customer service

Fruit-pak elastic. This harmless looking thing from Innobrace is making me suffer right now. I can't talk, can't chew and can't even open my mouth properly. You guys must be curious why got orange and rock melon one? like so sweet right! NOPE CHEATED. It meant the size of the rubber inside ( what's inside are just small little rubber. Lots of them. Both of the rubber are no bigger than (     ) this bracket)  .___.

Okay so , Orange means that the size of the rubber is bigger than the rock melon one. But my mum say rock melon should rightfully be bigger than orange and not vice verse! ( According to what we see in the super market haha)

I don't know if anyone understand me right now. Shall show u all a very very scary picture. Saw the rubber at the left and right side of the mouth? That's the "orange" rubber! Look at how much the rubber is being stretched! Whenever i am talking i am in pain. Lol sounds like Little mermaid. Whenever she is walking she is in pain too! Purpose quite the same too she want to find her prince and be together and i want to look erm , better? And find my Takeshi Kaneshiro one day haha!

ANYWAY... What's hiding inside the right side of my teeth is the  "rockmelon" rubber. "Rockmelon" rubber is half the size smaller so need to be placed behind to create more tension/pressure. Purpose of the whole rubber thing? It is to move my teeth inwards! Cause braces itself have their limit therefore we need these small little evil creature  rubber to help.

OMG RLY LOOK SCARY HAHA.

I think the picture below seems WAY TOO INAPPROPRIATE to be post in this post because hey i am just showing you a picture of my scary mouth..But yeah anyway, went to Nando's before visiting the dentist! Food is nice but service was really boo! Quite a few had commented about their bad services including Spore celebraties now that i went there myself..I think the service is really really not up to standard. Went to Nando's on 4/9/2012 and apparently there was some event going on that day. Not knowing that before hand we went to Nando's and was treated really coldly. Raise our hand to order our dishes twice and both of the waitress( different one some more) ask us to wait and serve the rest whom come later than us. Only on the 3rd request , a nice Malay guy help us to order immediately. Having the bill took us equally much effort, called upon two waitresses to get it for us but we were practically IGNORED. They just told us to wait and never come back. I mean hey if you were having some event that day you SHOULDN'T open it to public right? So much for saying "Welcome to Nando's!" following by " Yellow! ( or isit Yelo?) " upon the arrival of every customers. You guys should reflect on the service and attentiveness part instead. Need more training! If i am the human resource manager there ( if they have any) they will confirm have 100 hour of training per month lol ( #justsaying)

 

The food was good though!  One cheer to the Nando's chefs and two jeer to the staff there! Oh btw i went to the outlet in Jcube.

 

 

TAIWAN FREE AND EASY

Yay! Will be going to Taiwan for a total of 8 days! Going from October 6! Free and easy this time round!!

Down side is, my family and i have not plan a single thing yet. Like where we will be staying or where we will be going. Only thing confirm is the flight..

Going to start planning after my exam next week! Update again after my exam!

Oh btw , finally done with Ritz Carlton presentation . Not fantastic but i think i tried my best. Too fast though... But never mind, it's overrr! Two more papers to go! Go go go!

Taking a break today as the most busy period is over! Supposedly be more free one..But Ritz Carlton which is my FYP company actually postponed our presentation the day before the actual presentation!! :( Now this final mega super most important presentation is left hanging there.. ( Note : i am not blaming Ritz Carlton , they are still the few best hotel in the industry ok hehe )

Things are going well so far i guess! i only meant school though..

Some self thought: Perseverance  and endurance are getting important in my life nowdays, especially to bitchy people. haha sometimes if one people dont like you it is their problem. If more than 10 people dont like you , please kindly reflect. Sigh some people are just so...i wonder what will happen to you when you step into the industry. Seriously.

草蜢忘我演唱会 ( GRASSHOPPER RIGHT NOW IN CONCERT) PART 1

SUPER GOOD!!!

If you don't already know i went to Hebe Tien concert two weeks ago and if you were to ask me to compare this two concert..I will rate Hebe's concert a 3.5/10, Grasshopper's concert 9/10. Huge juxtapose between them okay perhaps because their concert are of different genre but i really am touch by the effort of Grasshopper jumping and dancing all the way in the concert. Their slow songs were full of emotion too! (Talking like a fake pro lol)

We had to leave after the first encore end because we were scared of heavy traffic aftafterwards..BUT heard that after the first encore when they said "BYE BYE" the crowd shouted encore and they appear again! Kind of wasted..lol

Erm I am going to continue this post on Tuesday night or Wednesday because I have got a lot of assignment to do and memorize. Bye and will be back! (And in草蜢 concert ytd, they were throwing freebies to the crowd and we managed to catch one!! Show picture next post! Er i know it is kind if weird for a 18+ girl to talk about 草蜢 but it was real good until i feel the need to justify for them haha)

For letting my results be somewhat better than expected
For not needing to present this week as we successfully changed to next week after much debate
For letting all the things go well so far

Hope that all my wish will come true and i will be a better and happier person from today onwards.

On a side note i am not thankful that i am sick now!!  Striked off because even if i am sick i should be thankful that i am not down with some other major diseases or cancer. touch wood touch wood! But seriously i just hope everything and everyone are okay and happy right now. My mentality is getting older i think lol.

I really cannot believe i bought 12 item from Gmarket ( sorry still not use to its new name) in a month! Month of June!

1 item for my mum another as a gift for my parents and all the rest is for myself. I cant believe i bought so many USELESS useful stuff online. From blouse to dress to tanktop to concealer to slimming gel ( Guargian is selling it at like 40 plus bucks and i got for less than 20 bucks!)  to bra clips ( Er apparently there was a sales and it is only like 10cent. Can you believe it?! 10 cent only! Lol, the shipping is actually more expensive than the goods) to banana milk ( mega big sales that day! Korea banana milk!! Fall in love with it after i went to Korea!!) In conclusion , Gmarket is having their GSS! Not a good thing actually...

I am actually giggling to myself as i typed out what i bought. I sound simply ridiculous. I am like totally neglecting my social life. hahahas

DID YOU REALISE THAT..

When you dislike someone , whatever he/she do will irks you down to your bone? (Lol from chinese translate: 恨之入骨 )
Like even if he/she smile, laugh , shout or whatever crap you will feel irritated? I do! I do!

Back from test

Back! i think i did badly for all the 3 papers this time reason might be because i am giving myself too much stress or because my memory is failing me. Think it is the bread fault. According to some research eating too much flour cause the brain to deteriorate and i am a major bread lover. SIGH. Must stop eating bread. Lol highly impossible. Plus during exam although i am very very tired i will still need to lie on the bed for like an hour or so before really losing conscious( falling into slp la). Okay all this are just excuse. But i really think/know i won't do well this time. Finger cross that miracle will happen!

3 weeks of holiday starting from today! Project project and more project awaiting me! Did i mention what is my final year project company? It's Ritz Carlton! The most renown company out of the 3 other fyp companies. But the negative side is that we need to present in their ballroom during Sept!! Worked in Mandarin for so many time that i see their ballroom until sian cannot imagine that i will be standing there presenting and i believe Ritz Carlton ballroom cfm will be bigger than mandarin's one.

Watched Snow white and the huntsman with Veron ytd! Return home and watched Man in Black 3! i think MIB 3 is nicer than Snow white and the huntsman but snow white got handsome huntsman.hahahas so i think this two are in par. But hor , MIB got one good looking one also! kinda old but handsome, his name in the show is K. hehe

HR SUMMIT / Braces follow-up

Helped out in the HR summit 2012! My supposedly "supervisor" were so cute as they were gossiping all the way. Fun and good experience! Albeit having to wake up soooo early that day..

How? How? My teeth got look straighter a not? It has been 2 months since i put braces! Don't u agree time really flies? A lot of people have been asking me after i put on my braces " Eh? why u put braces? Ur teeth okay what! straight!"

Hello friends , before i put on braces everyone was like asking me" Why u don't want to put braces?" and some were literally making fun of my teeth. i take it easily and as a joke when people make fun of my "rabbit" teeth but too many people asked me why i don't want to put on braces already..Friends, working colleague, supervisors some more...

So..Now that i have pluck out my courage to put on braces sooooo many people( different batch of ppl though lol) were asking me why i want to put it.

Sigh , humans. we can't please everyone can we?

Nowadays after braces i cannot smile with my mouth close anymore!!! :( think only those who put on braces will understand why!

School re-opened ytd! Honey moon period for the first week again. Year 3 also means my last year in polytechnic. I really really really need to work harder this time round to get into local uni!! My gpa now only allow me to go into courses like Real estate / psychology / sociology in local uni. But that's like not what i really want..Although it sounds kind of interesting.
The most contradicting thing is that i don't really know what i want in the first place too. Just know i need to strive harder and harder!!!!

Working in Robinson expo'12 was quite fun and interesing btw. Got to see a lot of different types of customer. Those very nice one and those very ugly one( i don't mean their physical apperance duh) This job was so far , out of my 4 job that i have done before , the slackest one lol. Finish selling 3 /4 of what i was suppse to sell in the first 2 day. Rest of the 9 days was such a breeze~ Shall not elaborate here , well i mean i cannot elaborate here. hahas

Braces/ Extraction

After announcing it on my blog , i announced it on Twitter too. Hahas not like anyone really care right, i know.
Yeap yeap gonna put on braces!

Not that soon yet , i am still on the first few step actually.

X-ray done -->Mold done --> Extraction of 2 of my teeth done--> this wed am going to extract another two!--> next monday putting on of braces

Anyway , from the X-ray , i was told that i am full of wisdom..Because , i have like 4 wisdom tooth hidding inside my gum. This mean i might need to extract another 4 tooth in the later part of my life! What is this! :(

Anyway , to those that say extraction of teeth is nothing. I really do not think so! It is really really painful! Okay, i meant the after pain actually.

The injection and extraction part was really bearable.

For the injection part , just kindly beg the dentist to give u more numb gel before letting him inject that big big needle in your mouth and everything should be alright.

For the extraction part , if u are someone whom have been fed with a lot of milk / ikan billis/ calcium stuff since young , like me , be prepared. You wont feel any pain but the dentist will have a hard time extracting it out. My whole head was moving together with the dentist as he was trying to extract it out. He even asked “u drink a lot of milk when you are young right???" Hahas it is the dentist that will have a hard time , the one lying there will just literally just feel the pressure enforced.

After pain- it took me like 5 days before the pain go away!! I don’t know why it took me so long because my family member all said it took them like one day only. Up till no ( the sixth day) , i still can feel the soreness in my mouth. Two more days to my next extraction!! :(

Anyway , to those who are extracting their tooth, hope my information help!

Okay none of my friend know about this and i am only going to say it here. I am going to pluck 2 of my teeth today, first time in my life!! :x

Last year this time , my Cny and V's day was different, completly different.It is amazing how people whom u are once so close with can just...poof , dissapeared just like that right?
